JUSTICE FOR COMPUTERS PUBLISHES CLEAR AND FIXED LABOR RATES* FOR COMPUTER REPAIR SERVICES. WE WILL CHARGE THE PUBLISHED LABOR RATE (PER TABLE BELOW) FOR EACH INDIVIDUAL REPAIR THAT IS PERFORMED.

 

IF MORE THAN ONE REPAIR IS PERFORMED ON YOUR COMPUTER (e.g. THE HARD DRIVE AND DVD ARE BOTH REPLACED), WE WILL ADD THE RATES FOR EACH REPAIR TO OBTAIN A TOTAL LABOR RATE, PLUS THE PRICE OF WHATEVER REPLACEMENT PART(S) ARE REQUIRED FOR THE REPAIR.

DIAGNOSIS:

  • FREE if repair is authorized after diagnosis.

  • $20.00 if customer chooses not to complete a repair after successful diagnosis.

 

Apple / Mac / iOS Firmware Installation:  We will install using the Apple firmware version with upgrades. A successful installation is defined as the device booting up and showing the desktop on a Home screen, $80.00, per Unit

 

BIOS / Password Recovery:  $50.00, per Unit

 

Card / Drive / Modem:  Installation of a VGA graphic card, sound card, network card, wireless cards, fax modem, floppy drive, or CD/DVD drive, $40.00, per Unit and/or plus Parts

CPU / Processor Replacement:  Starting from $80.00, plus Parts

 

Data Backup Services:  Up to 1 TB, IDE / SATA (Does not include sector repair), from $50.00, plus Parts

 

Hard Disk Drive Replacement:  $50.00, plus Parts

 

Hard Drive Formatting:  $50.00, per Unit

Maintenance / PC Cleaning / Optimization:  $50.00, per Unit

 

Microsoft Windows Operating System Installation:  We will install using the restore CD or operating system version and registration key. A successful installation is defined as the Laptop booting up and showing the desktop with a Start button, $80.00, per Unit

 

PC Installation / Setup:  Perform computer start up, perform initial analysis, download upgrades, and ensure system is working properly. Service includes one software title installation (excluding operating system/firmware), $50.00, per Unit and/or plus Parts

Peripheral Installation / Setup:  Installation of printers, digital cameras and etc., $30.00, per Unit

Power Supply Replacement:  $60.00, plus Parts

Services:  PC / Web / Network: Starting from $30.00 per hour

 

Software Title Installation:  Single software title installation (excluding any operating system), starting from $40.00

 

System Board / Case Replacement:  $100.00, plus Parts

 

Virus Removal or Protection:  Malware / Adware / Spyware, starting from $50.00, plus Software

Any Other Hardware Repair or Service (not mentioned above):  Starting from $30.00, per hour, plus Parts

 

POLICY FOR ABANDONED PROPERTY

Please review the following Indiana statutes to determine applicability:

  • $2 per day storage if not picked up within 30 days of repair ($60 per month).

  • Property will be sold and/or disposed of after 60 days.

IC 32-33-9-1 If a person entrusts to a mechanic or tradesman materials....

 

If a person entrusts to a mechanic or tradesman materials to construct,
alter, or repair an article of value, the mechanic or tradesman, if the
construction, alteration, or repair is completed and not taken away and the
mechanic's or tradesman's fair and reasonable charges not paid, may, after
sixty (60) days after the charges became due:

(1) sell the article of value; or

(2) if the article of value is susceptible of division, without injury,
may sell as much of the article of value as is necessary to pay the
charges.

 

IC 32-33-9-2 Before a sale under section 1 of this chapter, the
mechanic....

Before a sale under section 1 of this chapter, the mechanic or tradesman
must give notice of the amount due and the time and place of the sale by
mailing a certified or registered letter, return receipt requested, to the
last known address of the entrusting person or owner at least thirty (30)
days before the date of the sale.

 

IC 32-33-9-3 (a) The proceeds of a sale that takes place under section
1....

(a) The proceeds of a sale that takes place under section 1 of this
chapter, after payment of charges for construction or repair and for giving
notice by registered or certified mail, shall be:

(1) returned to the entrusting person or owner if the identity an
mailing address of the entrusting person or owner are known; or

(2) deposited with the treasurer of the county in which the construction
or repair work was performed.

(b) If the entrusting person or owner does not:

(1) claim the article within the thirty (30) days before the date of the
sale;

(2) pay for the construction, alteration, or repair; and

(3) provide reimbursement for the expenses of notification; the mechanic
or tradesman may proceed with the sale according to the terms of the
notice.

 

IC 32-33-9-6 Additional compensation for keeping and taking care of....

Additional compensation for keeping and taking care of property referred
to in section 5 of this chapter, if necessarily incurred, may be taken from
the proceeds of sale under section 5 of this chapter as part of the
charges.

 

IC 32-33-9-8 All mechanics, tradesmen, or bailees taking advantage of....

All mechanics, tradesmen, or bailees taking advantage of this chapter, at
the time of the entrusting, must issue a receipt to the person entrusting
the article to them. The receipt must conspicuously state, "All
articles left on the premises after work is completed may be sold for charges.".
